You do the work. Kwilo helps with the admin.

For gardeners, cleaners, electricians, dog walkers, tutors and other people who run their own service business.

Hello, I’m Kwilo. Tell me what the job involves and I can help draft the quote. I keep the booking, invoice and useful details with it too.

We’re inviting businesses a few at a time. Your 30-day trial starts once you’re invited and join.

Say what needs doing. Let Magic Quote help with the draft.

Just looked at a job? Speak the details while they’re fresh, or type a few rough notes. Kwilo turns them into suggested quote lines for you to check.

Review the draft, add it to your quote and set your prices. You decide when it’s ready to send.

Share the quote link by WhatsApp or email. Your customer can approve, reject or ask a question, with their response kept alongside the quote.

MTD is becoming part of the admin too.

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is being phased in. By April 2028, sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £20,000 will need compatible software, unless exempt.

Kwilo prepares and reviews records for sole traders with one supported self-employment source. It does not currently send quarterly updates or Final Declarations to HMRC. Take the reviewed records to the software or adviser that handles your filing.

How Kwilo started.

It started over a pint at Christmas. One of my daughter’s coaches runs a DIY business on his own. His accountant was chasing expenses, and he was worried about the admin that Making Tax Digital would bring. We got talking about customers, quotes and planning jobs too.

That conversation got me building Kwilo: one place to keep the work and the paperwork together for a service business.

Gavin
